Resources for Lent 2026
Lent is a 40-day period starting on Ash Wednesday and ending on Holy Saturday, excluding Sundays. We follow the biblical accounts of Jesus’ life and ministry, including temptations and struggles with powers and principalities both earthly and spiritual. It is a time for personal attentiveness to spiritual formation and growth in disciplined ways, as preparation for the great celebrations of Easter.
"I also commend to you this year’s Archbishop of Canterbury’s Lent Book, Dancing to the Heartbeat of God. I’m grateful for the many contributors from across the Communion. Their stories of discipleship, hospitality, courage, and generosity reflect the rich witness of our global family and offer inspiration for our shared life and mission"
-The Most Revd and Rt Hon Dame Sarah Mullally, the Archbishop of Canterbury

Saturday, March 7, 1pm ET (online): The Lord’s Prayer: Lenten Webinar with Archbishop of York Stephen Cottrell, hosted by the Anglican Fellowship of Prayer (Canada)
