Okanagan 4 Ukraine continues to grow in our efforts to support Ukrainians both here in the Okanagan and in Ukraine. They are hosting their 2nd Summer Tea at St. Andrew's Anglican Church on Saturday, July 18, from 2:00–4:00 p.m.
This year's tea has an important focus. We are inviting the community to help expand the Ukrainian book collection at the Okanagan Regional Library—supporting children's books that help young readers maintain their language and culture, while also adding a curated collection of Ukrainian literature for adults. We'll enjoy tea, Ukrainian nalysnyky (dessert crepes), guest speakers, and good conversation as we celebrate the power of stories to connect people and communities.
