Handel's Messiah

The Okanagan Festival Singers will bring their 40th-anniversary season to a magnificent close with two performances of one of the most beloved works in the choral repertoire: Handel’s Messiah. On Sunday, November 29, the choir will be joined by four outstanding guest soloists and a 17-piece orchestra for a matinee performance of the complete work at Evangel Church (3261 Gordon Drive, Kelowna.) Tickets are $45 per person. Then, on Friday, December 11, audience members are invited to become part of the music at a special evening sing-along performance. Featuring the choruses from Messiah and Sandra Fletcher on organ, this joyful community event will take place at St. Michael’s Cathedral (608 Sutherland Ave., Kelowna). No orchestra or soloists will appear at this performance. Tickets are $15 per person. Doors open 30 minutes before each concert.
