A Joyful Celebration of New Ministries

On January 30th at St. Michael and All Angels Cathedral in Kelowna, Archbishop Lynne McNaughton celebrated the beginning of three ministry Journeys in the Diocese of Kootenay. 

Gathered together in a a gorgeous liturgy that included music from the Cathedral choir, the Archbishop collated the Venerable Christopher Parsons as the Executive Archdeacon of the Diocese of the Kootenay. She installed Andrew Stephens-Rennie as a lay canon of the Diocese of Kootenay, commissioning him as the Director of Missional Renewal.  Finally, the Archbishop commissioned Carlos Ferreira as the Interim Executive assistant.

The night was a joyful occasion celebrating the hope of new beginnings. Many thanks to all those who joined in celebration online and in-person, to the Cathedral community who extended great hospitality to the diocesan community, and to Dean David Tiessen.
