Locally Trained Priest

Locally Trained Priests (LTPs) are ordained priests in God’s church, trained locally instead of at a seminary. They work on a part-time, volunteer basis in their local churches and are supported by seminary-trained priests. LTPs serve their community is the same way as a seminary-trained priest. Locally trained priests preside over all church services, including Holy Communion. LTPs work on a part-time, volunteer basis in a parish and are often responsible for preaching and teaching, supported by seminary-trained priests.
