  Foundation\nA Weekend of Inspiration\, Community\, and Practice for Deaco
 ns\nOctober 23–25\, 2026 Online via Zoom\nDeacons are called to proclaim
  the Gospel at the intersection of Church and world. We bring the needs of
  the community into the heart of the Church and carry the Church’s witne
 ss into daily life. Yet many deacons receive little formal preparation for
  preaching\, and even experienced preachers benefit from opportunities to 
 reflect\, learn\, and practice in the company of colleagues. “Preaching
  From the Margins” is a weekend created specifically for deacons who wa
 nt to strengthen their preaching\, deepen their confidence\, and explore t
 he unique voice of the diaconate in proclaiming the Gospel.\nThrough inspi
 ring presentations\, guided discussion\, and moderated small-group preachi
 ng sessions\, participants will:\n\nDeepen their understanding of the theo
 logy and vocation of preaching as a deacon\nLearn practical approaches to
