DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\nFall registration has opened for the Niagara School for
  Missional Leadership. They will offer the following courses:\n\nChristian
  Foundations I with Rob Jones explores God's Mission for the world. This 
 course brings a deeper understanding of the "story-so-far" and God's natur
 e and character in a relational context.\n\n\nAnglican Polity 101: How We 
 Do Things Around Here with Bishop Susan Bell guides students through "How
  We Do Things Around Here\," providing an introduction to Anglican History
  and an exploration of the Anglican Church in Canada.\n\n\nPastoral Care F
 undamentals: Presence\, Paying Attention\, and Prayer with Archdeacon Ter
 ry DeForest helps students to build a range of pastoral care skills\, teac
 hing practices focused on being present and paying active attention to oth
 ers' needs\, providing the foundations to accompany them prayerfully.\n\nN
 SML will also be launching a two-year certificate course in Mission Pract
 ice with our diocesan community missioner\, Canon Ian Mobsby.  This cour
 se will explore the foundations for mission practice\, looking at the Angl
 ican and ecumenical understandings of mission. It will also explore mixed 
 ecology\, fresh expressions\, and church planting in its first year. In Ye
 ar 2\, the course will focus on developing the proficiency for mission pra
 ctice\, guiding students through new ways of bringing loving service to th
 e communities.\nCourses will be available for registration on NSML.ca.\n\
