DESCRIPTION:Summer 2026 Community Day Camps at St Andrews\n\nOver the past 
 several years\, we have been working toward our goal of welcoming campers 
 back to Camp OAC for a season of day camps.\nUnfortunately\, despite signi
 ficant progress on the rebuild\, we have made the difficult decision not t
 o operate camps at the Camp OAC property this summer.\nThe simple reason i
 s safety.\nWhile many important milestones have been reached\, ongoing con
 struction and infrastructure work mean we cannot confidently ensure the si
 te will be ready for campers in time for the summer season.\nWe know this 
 news will be disappointing. It certainly is for us.\nAfter nearly three ye
 ars of rebuilding following the McDougall Creek Wildfire\, we had hoped Su
 mmer 2026 would mark the beginning of our return to the Camp OAC site. Whi
 le we are heartbroken that we won't be gathering at camp itself this summe
 r\, we remain committed to keeping the Camp OAC community connected and cr
 eating meaningful experiences for campers and families.\nCamp OAC Day Camp
 s at St. Andrew's\nThis summer\, Camp OAC will offer four weeks of communi
 ty day camps hosted at St. Andrew's Anglican Church in Kelowna.\nWhile the
  location will be different\, our goal is to bring as much of the Camp OAC
  spirit as possible through games\, crafts\, faith\, friendship\, adventur
 e\, and fun.\nThese camps will not replace the experience of being at Camp
  OAC\, but they will provide an opportunity for campers\, staff\, voluntee
 rs\, and families to reconnect while we continue rebuilding the camp we al
 l love.\nImportant Registration Information\nExisting registrations will n
 ot be transferred automatically due to the changes in location\, dates\, p
